We caught up with the Ulster Schools 2nd XV Cup match between Larne Grammar and Limavady at a sunny but bitterly cold Larne on Wednesday afternoon.

Limavady, playing with the cold wind at their backs, opened the scoring with an early penalty from Charlie Blair for a 0 – 3 lead.

Charlie Blair kicked a crucial 11 points for Limavady

Larne hit back three minutes later with an unconverted try in the corner from Aaron Ford but Limavady were back in front 5 minutes later as Blair knocked over his second penalty for a 5 – 6 lead.
