On Saturday, at lunchtime, Belfast rivals, Queen’s University and Pegasus met at The Dub in a Denman Ulster Shield Pool D tie.
Neither team could take control of midfield, which resulted in a fast, open end to end game. Chances were created but not converted in a scoreless first half.
The 3rd quarter was the same fare. Neither defences could be breeched and the 3rd quarter ended 0-0.
All the excitement was reserved for the 4th quarter.
Pegasus opened the scoring, when Lucy McKee beat the keeper after 56 minutes.
