We caught up with the Women’s AIL match between Cooke and Tullow at Shaws Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
While the expected rain didn’t come from Storm Amy, the strong wind did, and Tuullow used it to their advantage to keep Cooke pinned in their own territory for much of the first half.

Cooke worked hard in defence, but the visitors got their breakthrough on the half-hour mark when Emma Carroll broke through to score in the corner for a 0 – 5 lead, which they took into the second half.
