Women All Ireland: Ulster University Elks 1 Railway Union 3

On Saturday afternoon Jordanstown Sports Village was the venue for the Women’s All Ireland Hockey League fixture between Ulster University Elks and Railway Union.

Hollai Quinn opened the scoring for Railway in the 1st minute

The first quarter started with a flourish as Railway went straight up the pitch and scored with a diving deflection from No 15, Hollai Quinn, within a minute. 

Sharon McNellis equalised for Elks

Elks struck back on 4 minutes with a similar deflection from Shannon McNellis.

Halftime was reached with the game tied at 1-1.
