We caught up with the Women’s All Ireland Hockey League match between Queen’s University and Ulster University Elks early Saturday afternoon at The Dub.
The Elks went into the match hoping to build on last weekend’s win on the road, and they got off to the best of starts with a goal from Rachel Houston at the end of the first quarter.

Queen’s, who have had a dream start to their first season in the EYHL, came roaring back in the second quarter with a quick brace from the inform Jenna McCarlie, which took the score to 2 – 1 in Queen’s favour at the halftime break.
