Stevenson Cup: Royal School Armagh 6 Ballymena Academy 0 Quarter Final

We caught up with the Stevenson Cup Quarter Final between The Royal School Armagh and Ballymena Academy on Wednesday afternoon at College Hill.

The Armagh team were on the front foot for most of this game but a tenacious defensive display from Ballymena kept them goalless during a fast paced first half.

Ballymena worked incredibly hard to shut out Armagh in the first half.

All credit to Ballymena who kept their cool as Armagh sent in wave after wave of attack, down both sides and through the middle, in a relentless performance. The hard work of the visitors saw them go into the halftime break with the game still tied at 0 – 0.
