It was a short walk across the playing fields at Lower Cairncastle Road for my second game on Saturday morning as I picked up the Medallion Squads hit out between Larne Grammar and Limavady Grammar.
As can happen at this time of year, Larne were just that little bit further down their pathway than the Limavady squad and they racked up a big lead in the first half.
Limavady made Larne work for their scores, but an early brace from Larne’s Ben Ledlie set the scene.
