We caught up with the Schools Cup Group D match between Larne Grammar and Enniskillen Royal Grammar School at Larne on Saturday morning.
The young Larne side were under the cosh for most of this game against their larger opponents. However, the home side showed remarkable tenacity as they dominated the breakdown and harried their opponents into making mistake after mistake.
Larne’s appearance in the Enniskillen red zone were few and far between but they certainly made the most of their first visit as the impressive Corbin Marsden crashed over off a lineout maul to give Larne a 5 – 0 lead.
