Men’s Premier: Belfast Harlequins 1 Queen’s University 6

On Saturday we took in the Men’s Premier clash at Deramore Park between Belfast Harlequins and high flying Queen’s University.

From push back Queens threw passes together forcing Quins to defend and trapping them deep in their own half.

Charlie McKeowen slots home Queens first goal

The quarter was only 5 minutes old when Charlie McKeown slotted home from close range to put Queens 1-0 up.

JJ Holley, centre, added Queens second goal

Barely a minute later JJ Holley gave Queens a 2-0 lead.

The pressure did not relent, and Ben Law’s 11th minute strike gave Queens a comfortable 3-0 first quarter lead.
