We caught up with the the Junior Shield match between Academy and Lisburn at Roughfort on Saturday afternoon.
By the time I made it across from the hockey pitch Academy were already 14 – 0 in front after early tries from Adam Gooderham and Curtis Henry, both converted by Michael Wilson.

Lisburn hit back on the 14th minute with a try in the corner from Harry Boyd, unconverted, to take the score to 14 – 5. This was followed by a break from Conor McKee, five minutes later, which ended with him going under the posts, for Richard McGregor to convert, which took the score to 14 – 12.
