We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Junior 8 clash between Owls 3XI and North Down 4XI at Roughfort late on Saturday afternoon.
By the time I got over from the rugby the 1st Quarter was just ending with the score at 0 – 0.
It was a lively enough game but most of the action was centered around midfield as both teams looked for an edge. Neither side made a breakthrough in Q2 and we went into the second half with the game still tied at 0 – 0.
