On Sunday afternoon Banbridge faced Queens in a Women’s Premiership game at Rifle Park.

Queens began the game in sparkling form and took the lead in under 2 minutes when Ciara Fitzsimmons scored in the right corner for 5-0.

On 6 minutes the ever industrious Ruby Starrett picked up at the base of a ruck and crossed unopposed for 10-0.
Queens pressure did not cease. Ciara Fitzsimons collected her second try after 11 minutes. Megan Creighton’s conversion had Queens out to 17-0.
