On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, Sullivan Upper School were the visitors to Pirrie Park to face Methodist College in a Stevenson Cup tie.
As neither team could achieve dominance in the first quarter, the midfield became congested, starving the forwards of ball. The first quarter ended scoreless.

The game opened up the 2nd quarter with both forward lines getting their share of ball. Both keepers were tested, before, in the 27th minute, Emily Armstrong converted a penalty corner to give Methody a 1-0 halftime lead.
Defences cancelled each other out in the third quarter and, again, the midfield became congested, as the quarter ended 1-0 to Methody.
