We caught up with the Stevenson Bowl Group match between Carrickfergus Grammar and Cookstown High on Wednesday afternoon at Carrick.
Carrick started brightly with an early chance going just wide. However, Cookstown battled back and enjoyed the bulk of possession and territory in the first quarter, keeping the Carrick keeper Bethany Wenlock busy.

The game was scoreless going into Q2, but a quick break from Carrick ended with Scarlett Walker finding the net with a shot from the left of the D to give Carrick a 1 – 0 lead.
