We caught up with the Schools Senior Friendly between Ballyclare High and Ballymena Academy on Saturday morning at the High School.

Ballymena started well and rushed to a 0 – 12 lead in the first quarter. Seth McCready opened the scoring with a try out wide after 8 minutes.

Ballymena go over i nthe corner for the opening try.

Billy Wylie finished under the posts 8 minutes later to push the score to 0 – 12 after Ben Collins added the conversion.

The visitors run in a second score.

Ballyclare hit back fairly quickly with a try from Ross Ferguson two minutes later, James Woodside adding the conversion to take the score to 7 – 12.
