We picked up the big game in the Men’s All Ireland Hockey League as Lisnagarvey welcomed Banbridge to Comber Road late on Saturday afternoon.
As expected, it was a tight and tense first half as both teams tested each other out. However, there were no goals and we went into the second half with the score at 0 – 0.

Banbridge opened the scoring on the 39th minute with Louis Rowe finding the net at a penalty corner.

However, Garvey were level a minute later as Oliver Kidd replied in kind at the other end of the pitch.
