I found myself still in Larne at lunch time on Saturday, so I decided to pick up the historic local derby between Larne and Carrickfergus at the Glynn.

Unfortunately, the wet conditions ensured that this one was far from a classic between these two fierce rivals. The best bit of play came in the opening minutes as Philip Andrews found Charlie Patterson with a delightful chip for Patterson to slide over for the opening try.
