Championship 2: Academy 49 Lisburn 23

We caught up with the second half of the Championship 2 clash at Roughfort between Academy and Lisburn on Saturday afternoon.

By the time we caught up with this one Academy were leading 15 – 13 at half time, Lisburn burrowing over for a score at the end of the half.

Academy were first on the scoreboard in the second half with Jeremy Addley staying intact to touch down under pressure. Conor Spence added the extras to take the score to 22 – 13.

Lisburn responded three minutes later with a third successful penalty from Richard McGregor which was quickly nullified by a penalty from Michael Wilson which moved the score to 25 – 16.
