We caught up with the Boys U18 and U19 Interprovincial Championship Matches against their Leinster counterparts at Ravenhill on a sunny Sunday afternoon, First up we had Ulster U18 Clubs against Leinster U18 Clubs.
Ulster had the best of starts with a try after four minutes as Elias Agbonkpolor burrowed over from close range. Jonnie Kennedy added the extras to give Ulster a 7 – 0 lead.
It took Leinster a further 15 minutes to break down the Ulster defence and they got their opening score from a successful penalty by Matthew Costello to take the score to 7 – 3.
The visitors took the lead two minutes later as Eanna Moynihan finished of a break by Aidan McGovern. Costello’s conversion took the score to 7 – 10 in Leinster’s favour.
