We caught up with the Women’s Representative Friendly between Ulster and Leinster at Portadown RFC on Saturday afternoon.
The event was well organised by Portadown who provided an enthusiastic guard of honour and ball girls for the teams who added to the occasion.
The match was a squad hit out for both provinces ahead of the Interprovincial Series which starts in a fortnight’s time with these two provinces meeting in Donnybrook.

It was a lively start by Ulster, who enjoyed the early territory and possession, but Leinster were first on the scoreboard after a break out try by speedster Teni Onigbode who outstriped the Ulster defence to cross out wide to give Leinster a 0 – 5 lead.
