EuroHockey Championship: Scotland 1 Ireland 3 U18 Girls II Final

We caught up with Saturday’s final of the 2025 U18 Girls EuroHockey Championship II between Scotland and Ireland at the National Hockey Center, Glasgow.

Both teams had enjoyed a stately progression to the final and a close contest was expected.

Ireland were quick out of the blocks and and early penalty corner was converted by Rebekah Lennon to give Ireland a 0 – 1 lead.

The girls in green continued to push forward and Katie Herron came close to adding a second, only to be denied by a great save from Scotland’s keeper Maddie Shepherd.
