Club Hockey: Antrim Sixes Tournament Day 1

We caught up with the Antrim Hockey Club annual six a side competition at Antrim Forum on Saturday.

A busy day featured the Girls U11 and U13 Competitions and the Boys U13 Competition with the Girls U13 Competition having the largest number of teams taking part.

Girls U13 Sixes

The Girls U13 competition featured teams from Antrim, Randalstown, Dromore, Larne, Ards, Coleraine, Ballyclare, Ballymoney and Lisnagarvey with Mossley and Belfast Harlequins entering two teams each for 13 teams in total.

The teams were divided into a group of 6 and 7 for a series of round robin matches. Harlequins White and Larne finished first and second in Group A and Lisnagarvey and Ards topped Group B with the four teams playing in the semi finals.
