We caught up with the Women’s Senior League 2nd Place Play off between Instonians and Dungannon who couldn’t be seperated over the 18 game season. The winner will face a play off against Banbridge for a chance to join Larne in promotion to the Women’s Premier.
Instonians settled quickly pinning Dungannon back deep in their own half and cutting off ways out of defence.
From their first penalty corner Amy Kimber struck to give Instonians a 1-0 lead after 4 minutes.
Instonians continued to press but couldn’t convert chances to goals. Dungannon had to be content with occasional forays into the Instonians half.
