McCambley Cup: Omagh Academicals 4XV 16 Ballynahinch 5XV 23

We caught up with the MCCambley Cup final between Omagh Academicals 4th XV and Ballynahinch 5th XV in the MCCambley Cup Final at Ravenhill on Saturday afternoon.

Hinch were first on the scoreboard with a 4th minute try from Robin Harte, converted by James Briar, for a 0 – 7 lead. Briar extended the lead to 0 – 10 two minutes later with a sucessful penalty.

Hinch get an early try.

Omagh responded with a brace of sucessful penalties from David Ward to take the score to 6 – 10 at the end of the first quarter.

Ashley McIlwaine wins the race to touch down for Omagh’s try.
