Junior 4: Owls 2XI 4 Coleraine 3XI 3

We caught up with our friends at Owls HC for their 2XI game against Coleraine 3XI in Junior 4 at Roughfort early Saturday afternoon.

Coleraine had the better of the first quarter with the Owls defence scrambling on a few occasions. However there was no score as we went into Q2.

Laura Kettle bagged an outstanding 2nd quarter hat trick for Coleraine.

There were a feast of goals in the second quarter with Laura Kettle starting the scoreboard clicking over with an early strike to give Coleraine a 0 – 1 lead.

Kettle added a second five minutes later to push the score out to 0 – 2 but just as it looked like Coleraine might run away with the game Owls pulled one back as Samantha McGrath found the back of the net to take the score to 1 – 2.
