We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Women’s Premiership match between Queen’s University and Banbridge at The Dub on Saturday afternoon.
It’s been a tough season for Banbridge who find themselves at the bottom of the Women’s Premier League. Unfortunately, on Saturday, they found themselves facing a goal hungry Queens University who are battling it out with Portadown at the top of the league.
Queens took the lead at the end of the first quarter with Jodie Simmons finding the net for a 1 – 0 lead.

Three goals in the second quarter put Queen’s in control. Kaia Moore netted from open play before Zoe Wilson got her account up and running from a penalty corner.
