U14 High School Cup: Kilkeel High 2 Markethill High 1 Final

We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls U14 High School Cup between Kilkeel High and Markethill High at Stormont Pavilion on Monday afternoon.

There was lots of skill and energy as these two young teams gave an entertaining game for the vocal supporters to appreciate in the first half.

The teams enjoyed a lively game.

Kilkeel broke the deadlock with their Captain, Carly Houston slotting home from inside the circle in the second quarter.

Carley Houston, center, is congratulated after scoring her first goal for Kilkeel.

Markethill fought back and put the opposition defence to the test but no further scoring by half time which saw the teams change ends with Kilkeel leading 1 – 0 . . .
