We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls Senior Plate Final between Larne grammar and Grosvenor Grammar at Stormont Pavilion on Monday afternoon.
This was a cagey game between two well drilled sides. Larne had the early advantage in terms of territory an possession with Isla Allen and Taylor Black making a few runs into the circle. However the hard working Tara Leckie managed to step in a opportune moments for the Grosvenor defence.
Allen was able to unleash a couple of back hand shots in the second half but Grosvenor keeper Darcy Kelly was able to clear her lines and the teams turned round with the game scoreless.
