Early on Sunday afternoon, in game one of a triple header, at the Kingspan Stadium, a combined Inishowen and Finn Valley side played Virginia in the Leona Harper Girls Under 14 Cup Final.
IFV pressed from kick off trapping Virginia in their 22. In the absence of a kicking game, Virginia tried to run the ball out, but it was turned over and run back at them.

In the 5th minute Jessica Laverty opened the scoring for IFV, when she drove over for a 5-0 lead. With Virginia only rarely breaking out, scores came regularly. Tries by Ruby Magee, 11 and 25 minutes, and Adele McKinley, 17 minutes, kept the scoreboard ticking over.
IFV led 20-0 at halftime.
