On Sunday afternoon, in game two of a triple header, at the Kingspan Stadium, Omagh played Virginia in the Girls Under 16 Cup Final.
It was nip and tuck in an evenly contested opening minutes. Gradually Virginia took charge.
Eno Akpan opened the scoring for Virginia after 15 minutes for 5-0.
Omagh had their moments but couldn’t compete with a fired up Virginia back row. Jocelyn Snell added a 2nd Virginia try on 27 minutes before an Emily Irwin penalty goal pulled Omagh back to 3-10 after 33 minutes.

Virginia pulled further ahead on 35 minutes when livewire forward Casey Johnston scored.
Virginia led 15-3 at halftime.
