We caught up with the Gibson Plate semi final between Larne Grammar and Sullivan Upper 3XI’s at Pirrie Park early on Wednesday afternoon.
It was a lively game with both teams creating chances in the first quarter but we went into the second quarter with the game still scoreless.
Larne applied a lot of pressure in Q2 with most of the play down the far end of the pitch. However a late break by Sullivan ended with a goal for Izzy Wray just before the half time whistle to take the score to 0 – 1 as the teams changed ends.
