Anderson Cup: Bangor 3 South Antrim 2 Final

We caught up with the Anderson Cup final between Bangor and South Antrim at Havelock Park on Wednesday night.

The teams battled out a tight first quarter with Bangor just edging it on chances created. However, South Antrim took the lead in the 23rd minute when Rory Brown knocked in the rebound from his own shot for a 0 -1 lead.

Not to be outdone Bangor pulled it back to 1 – 1 by half time as Ryan Burgess leveled the game with a fine strike from a penalty corner.
