All Ireland Hockey: Queen’s University 0 Corinthian 1 EYHL 2

I caught up with the first half of the Women’s All Ireland EYHL 2 Group match between Queen’s University and Corinthian at the Dub on Saturday afternoon.

Queen’s looked well in control in the first half with Pippa Wilson, Jenna McCarlie and Megan Cochrane all making strong runs into the circle.

Pippa Wilson had a strong Q1 for Queen’s

However, Corinthian’s Leanne Kelly was a formidable first line of defence and on the odd occasion the Queen’s players got past her they found Corinthians keeper Berne Van Wyk quickly out of her blocks.

Leanne Kelly was formidable in defence for Corinthian.
