We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls Senior Cup Quarter Final between Victoria College and The Royal School Armagh at Newforge on Wednesday afternoon.
Victoria College started the game well with their strong first quarter leaving their all conquering opponents looking a touch flustered as the teams battled out a scoreless first quarter.

The second quarter continued in a similar vein with a few warnings handed out by the umpires as both teams pushed hard. However we went into the second half with the game still scoreless.
Armagh got their breakthrough at the start of the third quarter when Joni Cunningham converted a penalty corner to give the visitors a 0 – 1 lead about 35 minutes in.
