We caught up with the Ulster Ladies Senior Cup semi final between Larne and Randalstown at Larne Grammar on Saturday afternoon.
It’s always nice to finish off close to home on a Saturday and it’s a double bonus when you get a quality game like this from my home town heroes.
It looks like both these sides could be competing for top spot in Senior 1 come the end of the season so this was always going to be a cagey affair.
The first two quarters followed a similar pattern with Larne attacking early on and Randalstown finishing each quarter strongly. Despite both keepers seeing a bit of action we went into the half time break with the game still scoreless.
