Schools Trophy: Dromore High 22 Belfast High 20

We caught up with the Ulster Schools Trophy quarter final between Dromore High and Belfast High at Barban Hill on Saturday morning.

The Belfast side were first to get on the scoresheet with Archie Cruickshank slotting over an early penalty but Dromore soon countered with Daniel Ennis McManus bursting through the middle to touch down for a 5 – 3 lead.

Belfast countered pretty quickly with No 13, Ben Gardiner, touching down under the posts allowing Cruickshank to add the extra points to take the score to 5 – 10

Dromore weren’t finished yet and near half time No 8, Aaron Bell crashed over to level the scores at 10 – 10 as the teams changed ends.
