We caught up with the Medallion Trophy semi final between Banbridge Academy and Bangor Academy at Banbridge on Saturday morning.

A good crowd was treated to some fine rugby by the home team who got off the mark early with No 12, Dawson Knox bursting through to open the scoring. for a 5 – 0 lead.

Banbridge went further ahead when Patrick Porter picked up a loose ball to go over in the corner with the extra points being added by Daniel Byrne to take the score to 12 – 0.
