We caught up with the Championship 2 match between Academy and CIYMS at Roughfort on Saturday afternoon.

This was an entertaining game between two sides who know each other well. Despite CI looking for a win to stay top of Championship 2 and Academy looking for the win to avoid slipping into the relegation dogfight there was not a lot between the two teams on the day.

Academy’s Michael Wilson opened the scoring with two penalties.

Academy got off to a strong start with Michael Wilson converting two early penalties for a 6 – 0 lead in the first 10 minutes.

CI’s captain Scott Dowle had an impressive game.
