We caught up with the the Burney Cup semi finals played at Havelock Park on Thursday afternoon.
First up we had the match between Banbridge Academy and Campbell College which started in the sunshine.
Banbridge pretty much dominated the first half with most of the action down the far end of the pitch around the Campbell goal. However the Campbell defence worked hard and keeper Thomas Costelloe was in top form and the first quarter ended scoreless.

The second quarter was fairly similar and Banbridge finally got their rewards 26 minutes in after a field goal from Adam McKee and they took a 1 – 0 lead into the half time break.
