We caught up with the Women’s All Ireland League match between Ulster University Elks and Railway Union at Jordanstown Sports Village on Saturday afternoon. It was a match that pitched second against third in the EYHL with Elks looking for a win to leapfrog their visitors.
It was a lively game between two evenly matched teams. The Elks looked to have a bit more flair and Railway looked more physical but defences dominated in the first half with few clear cut chances created and the teams changed ends with the game scoreless.

The third quarter continued in a similar fashion but it looked like the Elks were starting to get on top as the teams went into the final quarter with the game still tied at 0 – 0.
