We caught up with the return Denman Ulster Shield match between Ulster University Elks and Pegasus at Jordanstown Sports Village on Saturday afternoon.
The teams had battled out a 2 – 2 draw last weekend at The Dub in the same competition but the Elks made home advantage count with a Q1 goal from Anna Mollenhauer, 12 minutes into the game.
The second and third quarter were even as the two familiar teams cancelled each other out and the game went into the final quarter with the Elks still defending that single goal lead.
