On Saturday morning a large partisan and very vocal crowd assembled a Foxes Field for the eagerly anticipated Schools Cup Round of 16 Tie between fierce rivals Campbell College and Royal Belfast Academical Institution. Strong, low sunlight filtered through the trees creating strong shadows and making for challenging photography.

An early Campbell attack was broken up and Inst countered to deep inside the Campbell 22, where the ball was turned over. Campbell’s clearing kick only reached the 22 where Jack Coulter fielded the ball and evaded despairing tackles to squeeze over in the corner to put Inst 5-0 up in 7 minutes.
It took until the 19th minute for Campbell to reply through a short range penalty goal from Henry Ralston to make the score 3-5.
Neither side could dent formidable defences.
