We caught up with the Ulster Schools Hockey Junior Cup match between Banbridge Academy and Glenlola Collegiate on Thursday morning at Havelock Park.
In an entertaining game Banbridge Academy took early control with a goal from Jennifer Soutar after three minutes.
The home team continued to pepper the Collegiate goal for most of the first half but some exceptional saves from Glenlola keeper Emma Creighton kept the score at 1 – 0 as the teams changed ends.
