I caught up with the U14 Stevenson Bowl Final between Lurgan Junior High and Dromore High at a very wet Havelock Park on Thursday morning.

The entertaining match was a huge credit to both sides who competed in very challenging conditions.

The first half was keenly contested though Dromore looked to create the most chances. Lurgan came more into the game in the second quarter and they took the lead just before half time after Lucy Wilson finished off a strong run, down the right, with some aplomb to give Lurgan a 1 – 0 lead as the teams changed ends.
