Women’s Premiership: Malone 12 Enniskillen 10

On a very grey, overcast Sunday afternoon Enniskillen were the visitors to Gibson Park to play Malone in a Women’s Premiership fixture. Because of illness and holidays, Malone couldn’t field a bench, so all players got the full 80 minutes.

With territory and possession, Enniskillen pressed from kick off, not allowing Malone out of their half. Malone’s defence held firm with some dominant tackles going in.

Anna Wilson rounds the Malone defence for Enniskillen’s 1st try

Eventually Malone ran out of defenders. Anna Wilson found space wide out on the left and rounded the Malone defence, after 16 minutes for Enniskillen to lead 5-0.
