We caught up with another tip top clash in the second Ulster Schools U14 Stevenson Cup semi final as Killicomaine JHS and Rainey Endowed went head to head in a frenetic match at Havelock park late Thursday afternoon.
Rainey certainly had the best of the first half. The Magherafelt side took the lead after 5 minutes with a strike from Rois Gribbin.
Killicomaine struggled to hold on to possession and Rainey added two more goals in the second quarter as Ellie Rutledge and captain Alexa McCrea both scored from penalty corners. McCrea having a busy week having scored for the seniors in Wednesday’s Semi finals.
