We caught up with the eagerly anticipated Ulster Schools U14 Stevenson Cup semi final between Banbridge Academy and Victoria College at Havelock Park on Thursday afternoon.
This was a hard fought battle between two elite teams in top form.

Both teams worked hard in the opening exchanges but it was Banbridge that got the early advantage with a penalty corner strike from Maisie Nicholl right at the end of the first quarter to give Banbridge a 1 – 0 lead.

Victoria replied fairly quicky in the second quarter with a well taken goal in open play from Martha McMurray to tie . . .
