Schools Friendly: Belfast Royal Academy 30 Campbell College 15

On Saturday morning I found myself in Roughfort for the schools friendly between Belfast Royal Academy and Campbell College.

After 10 minutes, BRA were awarded a penalty which was kicked by scrumhalf Connor McVicker to give the hosts an early 3 – 0 lead.

Connor McVicker kicked two first half penalties for BRA

Six minutes later it was BRA winger Evan Lemon who went over in the corner to boost the lead to 8 – 0, with McVicker failing to add the extras.

Callum McKinney picked up a try for Campbell

Campbell quickly bounced back with the use of a powerful maul which was finished off nicely by no.8 Callum McKinney but a failed . . .
