We caught up with the Ulster Schools Cup Group D match between Banbridge Academy and Dalriada on Saturday morning in Banbridge.
Dalriada started brightly with plenty of pressure being put on Banbridge but the home team held their ground until they got the chance to attack.

Banbridge’s Noah Bell bullied his way across the line carrying the defenders with him for the opening score after 10 minutes to give Banbridge a 5 – 0 lead.
Play went back and forward until a kick ahead by Banbridge bounced awkwardly and was pounced upon by full back Sam Leslie to increase the home side’s lead. Andrew Jackson slotted over the conversion to take the score to 12 – 0 after 30 minutes and that’s how it stayed until half time.
