We caught up with the Firster Cup match between CIYMS and Lisburn 2nd teams at Belmont Park on Saturday afternoon.

An early try from CI’s Michael Houston, converted by Matthew Kilgore, set the tone for this game as the home time took a 7 – 0 lead after 3 minutes.

Michael Houston opened the scoring for CIYMS.

Further tries followed from Adam McKenna, Fergus Doherty and Michael Simpson. Kilgore added two more conversions an a penalty to give CI a 29 – 0 lead at half time.

CI’s Simpson picked up his second try at the start of the second half before the home team . . .
